Went there for my 30th birthday and going back to get married in May..One of the most beautiful places on earth..You have to stay at the Lodge at Koele!

I lived on Beautifull lanai for 8 months picking pineapple in the 80′s, when I left this little toothless 4 ft. philipino women said “you no howli boy, you native!” & since then I wanted to go back, but alas, i’m stuck in “happy valley” utah!

cool, I miss Lanai & the old whitewashed buildings we lived in, had an old theatre too near the hospital & grocery shopped at a little store called Pineisle ran by a japanese man named taka. I lived about two blocks from where the old Pine truck yard was.

i was born n raised on lana’i…lived there for 19 years…now i’m on the big island and i still miss home!! although there wasn’t much to do, Lana’i is still my home and i can’t wait to go back and visit. Its a really good place to relax and have no worries!!!
